To add our vintage touch, we have taken inspiration from the old France rugby cockerel badge worn by the team during the 1924 Olympic games.
The Rugby Union Final of the 1924 Olympics, held in Paris, was between France and the United States. The previous Olympics in 1920 seen the US rugby team beat France so this time they were returning to defend their title. After beating Romania 63 - 1, France entered the final. Although France was lablled the favourites to win, the US took the gold medal for a second time running, becoming the first team to win a gold medal twice in the same sport.
